FRINGE BENEFITS

Today I'm feeling dark and mysterious.
Time to load on the layers of black on black, and don't forget to pile on the fringe!
I hate admitting that I actually bought a pair of shoes from Forever 21, but these Alexander Wang Alexis Fringe Boot look-a-likes were just too good to be true.
I'm considering buying a second pair, just in case that proves to be correct.
They are surprisingly comfortable and go ridiculously good with everything.
You'd better get used to seeing me in these bad boys, as I'm certain I won't be removing them from my feet for about a week or so.

Also, this is just one of many incredible turbans that I have collected over the past couple years.
(I went through this whole turban craze phase after the Prada S/S 07 show explosion of the glamorous headpiece.)

NO, MY HAIR IS NOT CRIMPED

My brand new straightener has been broken for about a week now...
Desperate times call for desperate measures.
Yes, I know, my hair looks disastrous.

In other news, tonight I'm going to a BBQ at my friend's house.
It is getting super hot outside and this little teal dress is perfection in the current temperature.
I discovered it late last summer at a local thrift store, (such a good find) but haven't worn it yet.
This dress is so light and comfortable- the silk basically makes it feel like I'm NUDE.
How scandalous!

I went to Maison Martin Margiela in the hills of Beverly today. It was pretty awesome. So much to take in. Unfortunately, the infamous "Wig Coat" was M.I.A. (It's an Artisanal piece that moves between stores). Missing Wig Coat aside there was still plenty to look at and enjoy.
